Senior Manager – Legal role within the Technology Transactions team, focusing on technology contracts, commercial agreements, legal risk management and leadership.

Position details
• Support strategic transactions and business opportunities by engaging with deal teams, evaluating contractual and commercial risks, and providing visibility of material issues and potential exposures to senior management.
• Work with business, procurement, alliances and delivery teams to develop and implement contractual frameworks supporting business objectives and sustainable growth.
• Draft, review and negotiate global commercial agreements, including software licence and subscription agreements, alliance and teaming agreements, subcontracting arrangements, vendor services agreements, RFPs, statements of work and non-disclosure agreements.
• Identify and assess legal, commercial, operational, regulatory and compliance risks arising from contractual arrangements and develop pragmatic mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, tax, information security, privacy, compliance and business leadership teams to incorporate relevant requirements into contractual documentation.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the legal function to improve consistency and operational efficiency.
• Drive AI fluency and continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation, standardisation, automation and adoption of best practices.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals.
• Manage escalations and ensure the delivery of high-quality legal support.
• Develop and deliver training, coaching and mentorship programmes to strengthen contracting capabilities, legal awareness and risk management across the legal team and wider business organisation.
• Collaborate effectively across the organisation while supporting business strategy and an inclusive culture.
