The National Health Systems Resource Centre is inviting online applications for the position of Consultant (Legal) to support work related to public health law and policy.
Eligibility
• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) through regular courses.
• At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience, including 1 year of experience in the formulation of Public Health Policy.
• Working knowledge of important health-related laws.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, drafting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet tight timelines.
• Understanding of the public health structure and systems in India.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Computer proficiency with familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Published work in the area of law, health, or equity.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• Work experience in health law and policy, including areas such as hospitals, healthcare, mental health, gender, sexuality, disability, HIV, TB, and tobacco control.
• Research experience in relevant areas of law and health.
