About the Organization

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) is a Deemed-to-be University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is a NAAC A++ Grade multidisciplinary university comprising the Faculty of Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences.

ICFAI Law School, IFHE Off Campus, Bangalore, is a constituent unit of IFHE. The Law School commenced its integrated law programme in 2024 following approval by the Bar Council of India in 2023.

• The conference will critically examine the implications of India’s four Labour Codes from the perspectives of workers, employers, economic flexibility, social security, collective bargaining, occupational safety and regulatory compliance.
• The conference will also explore constitutional, comparative and international dimensions of labour law reform, including fundamental rights, International Labour Organisation standards and Centre-State relations.

Submission details

• Abstracts of 300–400 words are invited.
• Each abstract must include a minimum of 5 keywords.
• The abstract must be accompanied by a title page containing the title of the paper, name of author(s), email ID, contact number, designation and institutional affiliation.
• Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of 2 authors.
• Upon acceptance of the abstract, authors are required to submit the full paper.
• Full papers must be 4,000–5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
• At least one author of each accepted paper must attend and present the paper at the conference.

Formatting guidelines

• Font: Times New Roman.
• Font size: 12 points.
• Line spacing: 1.5.
• Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
• Alignment: Justified.
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 points, single spacing and justified.
• Bluebook 20th Edition citation style must be followed.
• Only footnotes should be used for referencing.
• Abstracts must be submitted in MS Word format.
• Full papers must not contain personal details of the authors.
• Submissions must be original and unpublished.
• Similarity index must not exceed 10%, excluding properly cited quotations, references and bibliographical material.
• A Turnitin Plagiarism/Similarity Report must be submitted along with the full paper.

Publication opportunity

• Selected papers, subject to the recommendations of the Review Committee and compliance with publication guidelines, will have the opportunity for publication in a Scopus-indexed journal.
• Selected full papers will also be published in an edited book with ISBN by a reputed publisher or a peer-reviewed journal with ISSN.
• Further publication details will be communicated separately.

• Students from Other Colleges/Universities: ₹1,200/-.
• IFHE Students: ₹300/-.
• Research Scholars/Professionals/Academicians: ₹1,500/-.
• Registration and fee payment must be completed only after receiving acceptance of the abstract.
