Nayayik Sahayata Foundation is organising an Essay Writing Competition to encourage law students to develop their legal research, analytical reasoning, critical thinking and legal writing skills.
Eligibility
• Students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes
• Students from all years of law school are eligible
Competition Details
• Participants may choose from topics covering contemporary legal, constitutional and social issues
• Suggested topics include Artificial Intelligence and Law, Right to Privacy, Uniform Civil Code, Access to Justice, Cyber Crimes, Women’s Rights, Freedom of Speech, Environmental Protection, Criminal Justice Reforms, Constitutional Morality, Data Protection and Judicial Activism
• Essay must be original and unpublished
• Essay must be submitted strictly in PDF format
• Participants must mention their full name, law college/university, year of study and contact email on the first page
• Proper citations and references must be provided wherever required
• Plagiarised or substantially copied submissions will be liable for disqualification
• Detailed word limit and formatting instructions will be communicated to registered participants
