The Journal & Editorial Committee of the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi is inviting submissions for Volume XIII (2026) of the NUSRL Journal of Law and Policy.
Eligibility
- Open to students, academicians, researchers, lawyers and authors interested in law and allied areas
Categories of Submission
- Long Articles / Research Papers: 5,000–8,000 words
- Short Articles: 3,500–5,000 words
- Case Commentaries: 2,500–3,000 words
- Book Reviews: Approximately 2,000 words
- All submissions must include an abstract of not more than 250 words and 5 keywords
Submission Guidelines
- Body Text: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment
- Title: Times New Roman, Size 12, uppercase, centre alignment
- Heading: Times New Roman, Size 12, uppercase, justified alignment
- Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is permissible
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere
- A plagiarism declaration must be submitted in a separate document
- Plagiarism Limit: Not more than 10%
- Submissions must be in Word format (.doc/.docx) only
- PDF files are not accepted
- Personal particulars must not be mentioned anywhere in the main body of the manuscript
- File must be renamed as “Name of Author & Co-author (if any)”
- Footnotes must follow Bluebook 21st Edition Citation Style, Times New Roman, Size 10, 1-line spacing and justified text
- All submissions will undergo blind peer review
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet the guidelines and may request revisions based on reviewer comments
- Use of AI is highly discouraged and will lead to immediate rejection
