National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) is inviting applications from law students for its internship programme, offering hands-on experience in specialised areas of legal services and exposure to the functioning of NALSA.
Eligibility
• Students pursuing a Three-Year LL.B Course or Five-Year Integrated Law Course from any recognised University/College/Institution
• Preference will be given to students in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Three-Year LL.B Course and 4th or 5th year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course
Internship details
• Duration: One month (four weeks)
• Internship commences from the 1st day of the month
• Interns will gain practical exposure to various specialised areas of legal services
• Interns are required to submit a report on the work undertaken at NALSA upon completion
Internship guidelines
• No stipend, remuneration, TA or DA will be provided
• Interns must arrange their own accommodation
• Office timings: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Working days: Monday to Saturday, with the second and fourth Saturdays being holidays
• 90% attendance is mandatory for successful completion and issuance of the internship certificate
• Interns must carry their own laptops
• Interns may be required to travel locally to visit Courts and other offices
• Dress code: Formal Black & White as prescribed by the Bar Council of Delhi
• This is a full-time, physical internship
• Interns are not expected to pursue any other course/work during the internship
• In case of unsatisfactory performance, the intern may be asked to discontinue the internship
• No letter of recommendation will be provided

• Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest of one page or shorter explaining their interest and suitability
• Applicants must submit a No Objection Certificate from the appropriate authority, such as the Dean, Head of Department, Internship & Placement Committee or other higher authority
• The No Objection Certificate must mention the name and semester/year of the particular course
• Applications must be submitted online through the NALSA application form
• Selection will be based on individual merit and the decision of the Competent Authority will be final
