The Journal on Corporate Law & Governance, under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur, invites original submissions for Volume IX, Issue 2 on contemporary developments in corporate law and governance.
Eligibility
- Legal practitioners, academicians, researchers and students may submit their work.
- Authors may contribute Articles, Notes, Comments and Case Analysis.
Submission guidelines
- Broad Theme: “Recalibrating Corporate Governance: Accountability, Private Capital, And India’s Evolving Corporate Law Framework”.
- Submissions may address Corporate Law and Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities and Capital Markets, Banking and Finance, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Competition Law, Foreign Investment, Investment Funds, ESG frameworks, Technology and Corporate Regulation, Data Protection and Privacy in Corporate Transactions, Intellectual Property, Labour and Employment, Taxation, Dispute Resolution and related regulatory developments.
- Suggested sub-themes include Valuation Practices, Fiduciary Standards and Regulatory Accountability in Private Credit; Tactical Deal Engineering; Liquidity Mandates; Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026; Indian Private Equity; Founder-Protective Provisions in Private Equity-Backed Startups; and Class Action Suits.
- The sub-themes are suggestive and non-exhaustive.
- Articles: More than 4,500 words, inclusive of footnotes.
- Notes, Comments & Case Analysis: 2,500–4,500 words, inclusive of footnotes.
- Abstract: Not more than 300 words.
- Manuscript: A4-sized paper, Garamond, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified, with 1-inch margins.
- Footnotes: Garamond, font size 10, with single line spacing.
- Citation Style: Bluebook (20th edition) Uniform System of Citation.
- Manuscripts must not contain any identification of the author(s).
- Authors must provide their contact details, designation, institutional affiliation and address in the covering letter.
- Submissions must be original. Any form of plagiarism will lead to direct rejection.
- Relevant sources must be duly acknowledged through footnotes.
- Simultaneous submissions are not permitted.
- JCLG follows an open-access policy, with published articles freely accessible from the date of publication.

- Three-stage blind peer review process.
- Stage 1: Preliminary review for relevance, contemporariness, plagiarism, grammar and formatting.
- Stage 2: Assessment by Associate Editors based on quality, originality, structure, clarity, language and references.
- Stage 3: Detailed evaluation by Senior Content Editors.
- Acceptance is conditional upon satisfactory incorporation of editorial suggestions.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions until final acceptance is communicated.
