Eligibility
- Law Graduate
- Strong knowledge of Indian debt recovery laws, litigation management, and regulatory compliance
Position details
- Develop and implement legal debt recovery strategies
- Initiate and manage civil and criminal recovery proceedings, including arbitration, DRT, Section 138 NI Act cases, NCLT proceedings, and Willful Defaulter processes where relevant
- Oversee pre-litigation recovery efforts, legal notices, and settlement negotiations
- Manage litigated accounts across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate with empanelled law firms and advocates
- Review pleadings, affidavits, evidence documentation, and legal notices
- Track court hearings and maintain case MIS
- Manage relationships with panel law firms, advocates, recovery agencies, and investigators
- Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines, Consumer Protection Act, CPC, NI Act, DRT, IBC, data privacy, and fair practices codes
- Identify legal risks and support audits, governance, policy updates, and process improvements
- Track legal recovery metrics and prepare reports for senior management
