Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law is inviting law students to register for the 2nd Inter-Collegiate Mediation Competition, 2026 (Pactum Concorde 2.0), an online event giving practical exposure to mediation, negotiation and client counselling.

About the Organisers

Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law (TRCL) is a private, multidisciplinary law college in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by the Bar Council of India. The competition is organised by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society (ADR Society) of TRCL. Pactum Concorde 2.0 is the second edition of the event and is designed to help law students build practical skills in mediation, negotiation, client counselling, communication, active listening, problem-solving and consensus-building.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme
  • Students pursuing a 5-year integrated law programme
  • Students from recognised law colleges/universities are eligible
  • Participation is on an inter-collegiate basis

Event details

  • Event: Pactum Concorde 2.0 – Inter-Collegiate Mediation Competition, 2026
  • Organiser: ADR Society, TRCL
  • Mode: Online / Virtual
  • Dates: 31 October and 1 November 2026
  • Registration steps: Fill out the official registration form, submit the required team/participant details, pay the applicable registration fee and complete registration within the prescribed deadline
  • Participants must follow the competition’s Rule Book and any later instructions issued by the organising committee
  • Prizes: Awards, certificates and prizes for outstanding teams and individual participants, with specific details to be stated in the official brochure/rulebook
  • The first edition included awards for the Winning Team, Runner-Up Team and Best Mediator Pair, along with cash prizes, trophies and certificates

Competition details

  • Early bird registration fee: ₹3,000
  • Regular registration fee: ₹3,300
  • Commencement of registration: 6 October
  • Closing of early bird registration: 15 October
  • Closing of final registration: 25 October
  • Last date for seeking clarification: 26 October
  • Inaugural ceremony, preliminary and quarter-final rounds: 31 October
  • Semi-final, final rounds and valedictory ceremony: 1 November
