The Centre for Conflict Management & Dispute Resolution (CCMDR) at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat is inviting blog submissions on conflict management, dispute resolution and access to justice on a rolling basis, which means there is no fixed last date.

About the Organisers

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU) is a National Law University located at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana. It was established by the State Government of Haryana in 2012 under the National Law University, Haryana Act (Act No. 15 of 2012). The Centre for Conflict Management & Dispute Resolution (CCMDR) works to promote excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through research, training and practical engagement. The CCMDR Blog is its online platform for informed, accessible and meaningful writing on conflict management, dispute resolution and access to justice.

Eligibility

  • Open to students, researchers, academicians, legal practitioners, mediators, arbitrators and policy professionals
  • Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of two authors
  • The similarity index must ordinarily not exceed 10%
  • AI-generated content must not exceed 15% of the manuscript

Submission guidelines

  • The blog welcomes contributions that connect academic inquiry with practical experience
  • Scope: Mediation, arbitration, negotiation, conciliation and other forms of ADR
  • Scope: Online and technology-assisted dispute resolution (ODR)
  • Scope: Restorative and community-based dispute resolution approaches
  • Scope: Commercial, family, workplace, consumer and public dispute resolution
  • Scope: Institutional developments, recent judicial, legislative and policy updates, and comparative or international perspectives
  • The scope is not limited to the topics above, so authors can propose related ideas
  • Categories: Opinion pieces grounded in reasoned analysis
  • Categories: Case comments and case notes
  • Categories: Contemporary developments and institutional updates
  • Word limit: 1,200 to 1,800 words, excluding the title, author biography and hyperlinks
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment and 6 pt paragraph spacing before and after
  • Citation style: Hyperlinks are the primary method of referencing
  • Footnotes should be avoided unless exceptionally necessary, and must follow OSCOLA (5th Edition)
