The Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research (CELAR) at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is inviting blog submissions on environmental law and its related fields on a rolling basis, which means there is no fixed deadline.

About the Organisers

The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) was established by the Government of Assam in 2009. It offers modern legal education and research facilities to students and scholars from across the country, including the North East, and from varied socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. The Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research (CELAR) functions under NLUJAA and is described as the first centre of its kind in North-East India. It works to strengthen environmental law jurisprudence and to turn legal knowledge into a tool for addressing environmental concerns in India, especially in the North-Eastern region. CELAR Blog is the centre’s platform for insights and analysis on contemporary environmental law issues, including emerging conflicts, recent cases and legislative developments.
