CELAR Blog invites original contributions on contemporary issues in environmental law and its interconnected domains through rolling submissions.

Eligibility

• Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted

• Authors may write on any topic falling within the scope of the CELAR Blog

Submission guidelines

• Suggested themes include Environmental Policy and Regulation, Climate Change Law, Biodiversity Conservation, Sustainable Development, Pollution Control and Remediation

• Other suggested themes include Environmental Justice, Natural Resource Management, Land Use and Conservation Easements, Environmental Litigation, and Corporate Environmental Responsibility

• Submissions must be original and will undergo AI and plagiarism screening

• Offensive, abusive, derogatory, or potentially defamatory content must not be included

• Authors are solely responsible for any legal violations arising from their submissions

• Authors must inform the editors of any significant error or inaccuracy discovered in their published work

• Submissions undergo double-blind peer review

Formatting guidelines

• Articles must be 1,000–1,500 words

• A short abstract of 50–100 words is required and must be submitted through the submission form, not included in the main article

• Submissions must be in MS Word format

• Font: Times New Roman, size 12

• Line spacing: 1.5

• File name must be “Title_CELAR Blog”

• Authors must not mention their name or association in the manuscript

• Short title must capture the essence of the submission and must not exceed 10 words

• Hyperlinks are encouraged instead of footnotes

• Where hyperlinks cannot be used, OSCOLA 4th edition citation style should be followed

• Footnotes must use Times New Roman, size 10, with single line spacing

Other details

• Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis

• Submissions must be made exclusively through the prescribed Google Form

• Submissions through alternative channels will not be considered

• Editorial decisions are generally communicated within 10 days, although responses may take 14–21 days

• Publication decisions rest solely with the Editorial Board

• Relaxation of submission rules is subject to the discretion of the Editorial Board
