CSI – 6.0 is a national-level Crime Scene Investigation competition at DSNLU, Visakhapatnam, offering participants practical exposure to crime scene analysis, forensic investigation, evidence collection, and deductive reasoning.

Eligibility

• Open to students from all academic disciplines

• Teams must consist of three participants

• No prior forensic knowledge is required

Event details

• Participants will analyse a simulated crime scene

• Collect and examine evidence

• Compile a comprehensive investigative report

• Analyse minute details and formulate hypotheses

• Construct a logical sequence of events based on gathered evidence

• Gain practical exposure to crime scene analysis, forensic investigation, and deductive reasoning

• Format: Offline (In-Person Competition)

• Fee includes participation certificates, event kits, and access to expert sessions on forensic science

• 2nd Prize: ₹5,000

• 3rd Prize: ₹2,500

• Consolation Prize: ₹1,500

• All participants will receive a kit and certificate

• Winners will receive certificates of merit and recognition from DSNLU
