Saveetha School of Law is organising Jus Consilium – III Edition, a National Client Counselling Competition for law students.
Eligibility
• Open to all Law Colleges, Law Schools, Universities and Departments of Law recognised by the Bar Council of India
• Students pursuing the LL.B. programme in any year of study are eligible
• A maximum of 5 teams from each institution may participate
• Each team shall comprise 2 participants
Guidelines
• The competition will focus on client interviewing, legal analysis, effective communication, ethical decision-making and professional responsibility
• Participants will be required to identify legal issues, advise clients and formulate practical legal solutions
• Problems may be based on Criminal Law, Civil Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Surrogacy Law and Succession Law
• Registration fee: ₹2,500 per team
• Registration fee is non-refundable
• Registration will be confirmed upon successful completion of the registration process and payment
