• Law students who have entered the 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year law course

Position details

• The internship gives law students practical exposure to the professional work undertaken at the firm
• Interns are given real responsibilities, which helps them understand the kind of work they may do as legal professionals
• Every intern is assigned a professional at LKS as a mentor, who guides the intern, answers queries and oversees overall learning and development
• At the end of the internship, every intern makes a presentation on a topic decided by the mentor
• The topics are meant to encourage research, analytical thinking and creative approaches to legal issues
• The presentation is made before fellow interns and professionals at LKS, who evaluate the intern’s performance
• According to LKS, the quality of the presentation may also serve as a benchmark when the firm considers an intern’s application for an associate position
• Practice areas: Taxation (Direct and Indirect), Intellectual Property Rights, Litigation, International Trade and Customs, General Corporate, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Competition Law, Economic Offences and Data Protection
