Anant National University is inviting applications for an Industry Engagement & Intellectual Property (IP) Manager at its Aarambh Incubation Centre.
Eligibility
• Master’s degree in Design, Engineering, Science, Technology Management, Management, Law, Intellectual Property, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industry engagement, intellectual property management, technology transfer, research commercialisation, innovation management, or a similar role
• Experience in industry engagement, partnership development and IP management
• Excellent knowledge of intellectual property systems, technology commercialisation and research-industry collaboration
• Excellent communication, networking, stakeholder engagement and project management skills
• Registered Patent Agent (India) or advanced certification in Intellectual Property Management is desirable
• Experience with a University Industry Relations Office, Technology Transfer Office (TTO), IP Cell, Incubation Centre or Research and Innovation Office is desirable
• Familiarity with government and industry funding programmes for startups and student innovators is desirable
Position details
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government agencies, research organisations, startups and other stakeholders
• Facilitate industry engagement, collaborative research, consultancy projects, sponsored research, internships and technology partnerships
• Support faculty, researchers, students and startups in identifying innovations suitable for IP protection and commercialisation
• Maintain records and documentation relating to the Institutional IP Cell
• Coordinate institutional IP filings with student and faculty innovators and external IP professionals
• Facilitate technology transfer, licensing, commercialisation and industry adoption of research outcomes
• Organise IP awareness workshops, industry interaction programmes, networking events and innovation outreach initiatives
• Connect student innovators and startups with industry mentors, corporate partners, investors and commercialisation opportunities
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support innovation programmes, outreach activities and institutional initiatives
