Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is inviting applications for the position of Senior Analyst (Data Privacy) in Bengaluru, working with the Cyber Team on data protection and privacy compliance requirements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE or other related certifications are preferred.

Job details

• Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients.
• Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies based on client requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and application and privacy impact assessments.
• Design and build security and privacy frameworks.
• Design or redesign processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention of exceeding client expectations.
