Legal Associate – Factory Compliance to support clients in factory, labour and statutory compliance matters.
Eligibility
• LLB/LLM
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in factory compliance is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of Maharashtra-specific labour, factory and statutory compliance laws
• Practical understanding of local regulatory processes, authorities and working practices in Maharashtra
• Familiarity with the on-ground technicalities and compliance requirements applicable to factories in the Ratnagiri region
• Practical knowledge of Factories Act / applicable factory laws and Labour Codes
• Understanding of labour compliance requirements
• Good legal drafting and documentation skills
• Ability to independently coordinate with clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Marathi, English and Hindi
• Willingness to travel to client/factory locations, whenever required
• Candidates based locally or willing to relocate to the factory location preferred
Position details
• Handling factory and labour law compliance
• Supporting statutory registrations, licences and renewals
• Conducting factory compliance reviews and audits
• Maintaining statutory registers, records and documentation
• Advising clients on applicable labour and factory legislation
• Supporting inspections, notices and compliance-related queries from authorities
• Monitoring changes in labour laws and regulatory requirements
• Preparing compliance reports and identifying gaps
• Coordinating with client HR, factory management and government authorities
