Re is hiring for the position of Legal Manager – Commercial Contracts, Compliance & Litigation in Hyderabad.

Eligibility

• Relevant experience in commercial contracts, legal compliance and litigation management
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, labour and employment laws
• Understanding of environmental laws and regulatory requirements
• Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify legal and contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple business functions and manage strategic legal matters

Position details

• Draft, review, redline, negotiate and close commercial agreements including NDAs, MoUs, vendor contracts, service agreements, EPC contracts, lease deeds and JV agreements
• Provide legal support during tender and bid preparation and contract finalisation
• Advise business teams on contractual rights, obligations, liabilities and risks
• Ensure company-wide compliance with applicable statutory, labour, corporate, contract and environmental laws
• Maintain legal risk registers and monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations
• Coordinate with external counsel on civil, criminal, arbitration and statutory litigation matters
• Handle pre-litigation notices, consumer complaints and other dispute matters
• Maintain litigation MIS and monitor case progress
• Provide strategic legal advice on environmental regulations, corporate governance, contracts, IP and labour laws
• Assist with board materials, corporate filings and maintenance of corporate records
• Advise on employment contracts, labour disputes, policies and compliance
• Support M&A, joint ventures and other strategic business initiatives
• Develop internal legal policies and conduct employee training on legal and compliance matters
