Shriram General Insurance is hiring an Assistant Manager – Data Protection for its Jaipur Head Office.
Eligibility
• Qualification: Law with specialisation or relevant experience in Privacy or Data Protection
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Preference for candidates with experience in the BFSI sector
• Strong practical knowledge of applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and Rules
Position details
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Privacy and Data Protection Program
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and internal controls
• Monitor changes in applicable privacy and data protection laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry standards
• Conduct periodic privacy compliance assessments and identify gaps and remediation requirements
• Maintain privacy compliance documentation, registers, evidence, and management reporting
• Support data discovery, data mapping, and data-flow documentation activities
• Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) where applicable
• Conduct and manage Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Conduct privacy due diligence and risk assessments for vendors, processors, service providers, and other third parties handling personal data
• Advise business and technology teams on privacy requirements
• Support data subject rights and contract reviews
• Strengthen privacy governance and controls
