Terra Economics & Analytics Lab (TEAL) is hiring a Legal Executive to work on Title Due Diligence Reports and Legal Opinions for properties in Maharashtra.

Eligibility

• Ability to work with confidential documents.
• Good understanding of real estate laws; knowledge of RERA is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Marathi, with the ability to read Marathi being mandatory.
• Prior experience in real estate law and knowledge of basic property documentation is an added advantage.
• Candidates must be current or prior residents of Maharashtra.

Position details

• Verify and draft Title Due Diligence Reports and provide legal opinions for properties in Maharashtra.
• Effectively manage allotted cases and report escalations in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with external counsels and clients.
• Conduct research on land laws of different states.
• Coordinate with vendors for securing documents and reports.
• Draft and vet contracts and other documents.
• Handle other related tasks assigned from time to time.
