The Ministry of Women and Child Development is inviting applications for its Internship Programme for women students, scholars, social activists and teachers.
Eligibility
• Women students/scholars/social activists/teachers from Non-Tier I cities and rural parts of India
• Applicants must be enrolled in or associated with any university, academic or non-academic institution
• Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age
Internship details
• Interns may undertake pilot projects or micro-studies focusing on the ongoing activities of the Ministry
• The programme provides exposure to the Ministry’s mandate, programmes and policy analysis
• The internship is offered in four terms: May-June, August-September, November-December, and February-March
• Each internship term is for a duration of two months
• Up to 20 interns will be selected per batch

• Travel reimbursement: Travel costs for joining the programme and returning at the end of the programme will be reimbursed by deluxe/AC bus or 3 Tier AC train
• Hostel facility: Sharing accommodation in Delhi may be provided to willing interns for the duration of the programme
• Last Date to Apply: September 10, 2026
• A candidate selected for one internship term will not be eligible to apply for any subsequent term
