USLLS ADR Blog, an initiative of the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, invites submissions on topics pertaining to Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Eligibility

• Submissions are invited from academicians, researchers, students and practitioners.
• Co-authorship of up to two authors is allowed.

Submission guidelines

• Submissions must pertain to the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
• Submissions must be original and unpublished work of the author(s).
• Plagiarism will result in automatic rejection.
• Submissions with a Turnitin similarity index exceeding 20%, after relevant exclusions such as bibliography, quotes and small matches, will be rejected.
• Submissions should range between 1,000–2,000 words, exclusive of endnotes.
• Longer posts may be published in parts at the editorial board’s discretion.
• Author name, institutional affiliation and other author details must not be mentioned in the document to facilitate the double-blind review process.

• Font: Times New Roman.
• Font Size: 12.
• Line Spacing: 1.5.
• Text Alignment: Justified.
• Citation Method: Endnotes.
• Citation Format: Bluebook 20th Edition.
• Endnote Font: Times New Roman, 10.
• Endnote Line Spacing: 1.0.
• Endnote Text Alignment: Justified.

Review process

• All submissions undergo a double-blind review process.
• Submissions are evaluated by two editors on different parameters.
• The review process usually concludes within 14 days from the date of acknowledgment of the submission.
• The decision of acceptance, conditional or unconditional, or rejection is communicated to the author.
• Authors will be provided 10 days to make necessary changes suggested by the editorial board.

Copyright and exclusivity

• Upon acceptance, copyright over the manuscript shall vest in the Blog, while moral rights shall vest in the author(s).
• The Blog accepts only exclusive publications.
• Once accepted, a manuscript cannot be published elsewhere.

Submission details

• Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
• Submissions must be made in Word document format (.doc or .docx).
• An abstract/summary of not more than 100 words must accompany the submission.
• The abstract/summary is exclusive of the word limit for the article.
• Authors must also submit a short biography detailing their current designation and institutional affiliations.
