Kautilya Society, NUSRL Ranchi is inviting submissions for its official policy blog, Kautilya’s Take, focusing on contemporary legal and policy developments, governance challenges, and research-driven solutions.
Eligibility
• Students, academicians, researchers, and professionals from all fields of study are eligible.
• Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors.
Submission Guidelines
• Submissions must be original and unpublished.
• Plagiarism, including verbatim copying or inadequate referencing, may lead to disqualification.
• Authors must attach a short bio of not more than 150 words.
• At least two high-quality copyright-free images relevant to the blog must be attached within the same document.
• Submissions must be in .doc or .docx format.
• Selected blogs will be published on the official website of the Kautilya Society after successful review and final approval.

Formatting Guidelines
• Word Limit: 1,500–2,000 words, including footnotes
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
• Line Spacing: 1.5
• Alignment: Justified
• References should preferably be provided through hyperlinks.
• Where hyperlinks are unavailable, OSCOLA 4th Edition should be followed for endnotes.
• Plagiarism threshold: 10% for commonly used terms and phrases.
• Submissions will undergo preliminary screening and subject-specific peer review.
• Authors will ordinarily receive a response within 15 days of submission.
