Eligibility
- Open to all law colleges, law schools, and university law departments in India recognised by the Bar Council of India
- Students pursuing 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes are eligible
- Multiple teams per institution are permitted with official permission

Competition details
- Theme: Criminal Law
- Participants will engage in witness briefings, chief and cross-examinations, and final arguments
- The competition will follow procedural frameworks under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA)
- Mode: Hybrid
- Procedural Test (Online Viva-Voce): 10 September 2026
- Inaugural Session, Preliminary Rounds and Semi-Finals: 18–20 September 2026 via Zoom/Google Meet
- Final Round and Valedictory Session: 10 October 2026 at V. R. Krishna Iyer Hall, KLA Campus, Thiruvananthapuram
Prizes
- Winner: Merit Certificate + ₹15,000 cash prize
- Runner-Up: Merit Certificate + ₹10,000 cash prize
- E-Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all participants
