Greenpeace India is inviting applications for a 2-month Legal Internship in Delhi focused on climate justice, community testimonies, legal research and potential climate litigation.

Eligibility

• Law students and recent graduates.
• Interest in climate and environmental law.
• Interest in human rights.
• Interest in public interest litigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research relating to extreme heat and potential climate litigation.
• Support documentation and evidence-building.
• Work with community testimonies.
• Engage with people maintaining Heat Registries in Delhi.
• Explore how lived experiences and community records can contribute to legal action.

Internship details

• Position: Legal Intern
• Stipend: ₹10,000 per month.
• Duration: 2 months.
• Location: Delhi
