Solace Law Chambers is offering a long-term physical internship for law students with opportunities to work on matters before the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, and Tribunals.

Eligibility

• 5th-year B.A. LL.B. students.
• 3rd-year LL.B. students.
• Prior litigation experience is preferred.
• Strong legal drafting skills and the ability to draft independently.
• Basic understanding of Civil and Criminal Law.
• Serious and responsible approach towards court work.

Position details

• Position: Long-Term Legal Intern.
• Mode: Physical.
• Office: Jangpura, Delhi.
• Working days: Mostly 5 working days a week.
• Saturdays may also be required whenever work demands.
• Court appearances will be required whenever matters are listed before the District Courts, High Courts, Patiala House Courts, Supreme Court, and Tribunals.
• When there are no court appearances, interns can work from the office.
• Interns are required to reach the court before time to ensure that no matter or court proceeding is missed.

Internship details

• The internship will involve drafting legal documents and assisting with court work.
• Interns are expected to have strong independent drafting abilities.
• The first 2 months will generally be treated as a probation period, depending upon the quality of work.
• Stipend will be discussed during the interview.
• The final stipend will be decided after completion of the probation period.
• Joining: Immediate, from Monday, 21st September.
• Candidates will generally be shortlisted on the basis of their CV and may be called for an interview.
• Candidates with an exceptionally strong CV may be selected directly without an interview.
