Chamber of Adv. Prakash Ranjan Nayak, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Advocate.
Eligibility
• Enrolled Advocates or law graduates eligible to enrol may apply
• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are eligible to apply
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Sound understanding of litigation and Supreme Court procedure
• Excellent command of English
• Ability to analyse judgments and develop legal arguments
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Familiarity with SCC Online/Manupatra is preferred
• Genuine interest in litigation and Supreme Court practice
Position details
• Legal research on Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, Service and other litigation matters
• Drafting and assisting with SLPs, Writ Petitions, Appeals, Counter-Affidavits, Rejoinders, Written Submissions and other pleadings
• Preparing case briefs, notes, research memoranda and hearing briefs
• Assisting with Supreme Court filings, listings, defects and procedural compliances
• Analysing judgments, statutes, rules and precedents
• Assisting in conference preparation and day-to-day litigation work
• Coordinating with clients, briefing counsel and court staff as required
