IndiSec is hiring an Associate – Data Privacy in New Delhi for professionals with 1–2 years of experience in data privacy, technology law, compliance, or related legal advisory, with responsibilities spanning privacy consulting, legal research, drafting, audits, implementation support, and client delivery.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in data privacy, technology law, compliance, or related legal advisory.
• Working knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• Understanding of GDPR and other global privacy frameworks is preferred.
• Strong drafting, documentation, and research capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with organisations on compliance implementations is preferred.
• Experience in legal content writing or corporate consulting is preferred.

Job details
• Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, consent notices, DPIAs, ROPAs, contracts, and compliance frameworks.
• Research privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other global frameworks.
• Support client delivery by preparing reports, presentations, and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to gap assessments, audit work, implementation roadmaps, and remediation activities.
• Assist in developing privacy training materials, client scripts, awareness content, and handbooks.
• Support grievance redressal, incident reporting, and breach assessment projects when required.
• Contribute to legal blogs, knowledge papers, and internal knowledge-building initiatives.
• The role provides exposure to real-world privacy consulting and implementation projects.
