The Moot Court Committee at Madhav Vidhi Mahavidyalaya is organising the 2nd Shri Baba Saheb Gokhale National Moot Court Competition 2026 in Hybrid Mode.

Eligibility

• Law Schools, Colleges, Institutes, and Universities recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate

• Participants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Law through a 3-Year or 5-Year Law Course

Competition details

• Mode: Hybrid

• Theme: Money Laundering, Cyber Fraud and Constitutional Validity

• Virtual preliminary rounds will be followed by simulated in-person courtroom proceedings

• Participation Fee: ₹4,000

• Accommodation Fee: ₹3,000

Prizes

• Winner: ₹25,000 + medal + trophy + certificate

• Runner-Up: ₹11,000 + medal + trophy + certificate

• Best Speaker: ₹7,000 + trophy + certificate

• Best Memorial: ₹7,000 + trophy + certificate

• Best Researcher: ₹7,000 + trophy + certificate

• Total prizes worth ₹60,000

• Every participant will receive a participation medal and certificate in physical form

• Offline Rounds: October 31 to November 1, 2026

• Offline rounds will be conducted in Gwalior

• Participants attending the offline rounds may visit nearby historical places including Jai Vilas Palace, Gwalior Fort and Tansen Tomb
