Faculty of Law, United University, Prayagraj, is organising YouthNiti 2.0, a National Youth Parliament providing a platform for discussions on contemporary political, social, national and international issues.

Committees and Agendas

• Lok Sabha: Discussion on the Integrity of Public Examinations in India, including paper leaks, functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the need for educational reforms.
• Rajya Sabha: Discussion on the Constitutional Balance between the Unitary Tilt of the Indian Federation and the Principles of Cooperative Federalism.
• AIPPM: Discussion on the Independence of the Media in India, balancing freedom of the press, regulation, and democratic accountability.
• Indian Press (IP): Discussion on the Freedom and Responsibility of the Indian Press, balancing media independence, ethical journalism, and democratic accountability.

Registration details

• United University / United Group students (UU + UIMS + UGI): ₹799.
• Students from other institutions: ₹899.
• Last Date to Register: 1 October 2026.

• Cash prizes worth up to ₹50,000.

Rules and Guidelines

• Dress Code: Ethnic Formal Wear.
• Participants must carry a valid institutional ID or other prescribed identification.
• Delegates must maintain discipline, dignity and parliamentary decorum.
• Participants may speak in any scheduled language, preferably Hindi and/or English.
• Participants must complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline.
• No travel allowance or accommodation will be provided by the organisers.
• Criticism must be directed towards policies, ideas, institutions or arguments and not individuals.
• Personal attacks, derogatory remarks, intimidation, offensive language and un-parliamentary expressions are prohibited.
• The ruling of the Chair on matters of procedure and decorum shall be respected.
• Delegates are expected to attend all assigned sessions and report to their respective venues before the scheduled commencement of proceedings.
• Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during formal proceedings.
• Unauthorised recording, photography or live streaming of committee proceedings may be restricted by the Organising Committee.
• Participation certificates are subject to compliance with event requirements and attendance criteria.
